Hello!
My name is Paige Morgan and I have been an avid collector most of my life. I have had plastic animal models ever since I can remember and have always enjoyed playing with them and learning about the real life counterparts. Sometime in 2009 I was really bitten by the collecting bug and have scoured the world and internet for new unique items and species representation ever since. The Collector's Life
In 2009 I found a Schleich catalogue at a local farm and ranch store and discovered the world of plastic models in full for the first time. I originally started as a Schleich fan; collecting their wildlife, farmlife, fantasy, historical series; you name it! As the world slowly began to populate with other brands (availability of the Big 6 increasing; Bullyland, CollectA, Mojo Fun, Papo, Safari Ltd., and Schleich) and once I discovered the wonderful STS Forum village and the members there I was able to branch out even further. I had to restrict my collecting habits initially due to cost, but as an adult, now I have slowly found excuses *cough*cough* I mean reasons to collect others again. The once stagnate portions of my collection I have recently breathed new life into! (Marinelife, Prehistorics, even Insects now populate my shelves) Then this past year or so I delved even deeper by repainting models that I find badly beaten up at thrift stores or duplicates of common models; again, bringing more and more diversity to my menagerie with each new project.
